Managed Network DesignsCompton provides Managed Network Solutions for home and business which can be built using either wired or wireless technology. We are also well known Enterprise Network Company in India and are also partnered with Extreme Networks, Motorola, Aruba and HP. Managed Wired Networks Wired networks provide users with plenty of security and the ability to move lots of data very quickly with high throughput networks. Networks may be classified according to a wide variety of characteristics such as the medium used to transport the data, communications protocol used, scale, topology, and organizational scope. The rules and data formats for exchanging information in a computer network are defined by communications protocols. Well-known communications protocols are Ethernet, hardware and Link Layer standard that is ubiquitous in local area networks, and the Internet Protocol Suite, which defines a set of protocols for internetworking, i.e. for data communication between multiple networks, as well as host-to-host data transfer, and application-specific data transmission formats. Innovating with Extreme Networks Products from Extreme Networks Deliver Insight and Control to Solve the toughest Communications Challenges for Enterprises and Service Providers. BlackDiamond Series of Core Switches The exacting demands of IP Telephony deployments, enterprise aggregation, corporate data centers and network backbones, and metro Ethernet provider Points of Presence require solutions that combine consistent performance, carrier-class availability, enhanced security and simplified management. BlackDiamond® products from Extreme Networks® are designed and purpose-built to deliver these mission-critical capabilities. These switches minimize latency and jitter, which degrade the quality of voice and video applications. They're also highly resilient, a key aspect of voice-class availability using technologies such as Ethernet Automatic Protection Switching (EAPS) link resiliency standard to provide sub-50-millisecond link failover recovery time. Our multi-layered approach to security helps safeguard your network and leverages best-of-breed appliances and partners, so you can implement the security architecture that's best for you. Our products share the same user interface and management framework, providing end-to-end simplicity, which is even more critical now, with a single, converged network that carries all of an organization's voice, video and data traffic. Summit Series for aggregation and edge applications Extreme Networks® offers a number of switches for aggregation and edge applications, many of which are capable of stacking with SummitStack™ technology. There are several options available to meet the demanding requirements of your network. Within the range of the Summit® product line, we offer switches designed to support the evolving applications of a converged network with exceptional Quality of Service, low latency, resiliency, line rate performance and Power over Ethernet (PoE). Summit switches offer various critical capabilities, from Top-of-Rack server aggregation switch, processing packets between core and edge switches, providing high availability, control and simplified management of your entire network with ExtremeXOS®, to providing high density gigabit PoE to the desktop in a network running ExtremeXOS from the core to the edge, including 10/100 Layer 2/Layer 3 intelligent switching for advanced IP services. Summit switches are designed to meet the performance and availability requirements of today’s high-performance converged networks. 10 Gigabit Ethernet The 10 gigabit Ethernet (10GE or 10GbE or 10 GigE) networking standard was first published in 2002. It defines a version of Ethernet with a nominal data rate of 10 Gbit/s (billion bits per second), ten times faster than gigabit Ethernet. 10 gigabit Ethernet defines only full duplex point to point links which are generally connected by network switches. Half duplex operation, hubs and CSMA/CD(carrier sense multiple access with collision detection) do not exist in 10GbE. The 10 gigabit Ethernet standard encompasses a number of different physical layer (PHY) standards. A networking device may support different PHY types through pluggable PHY modules, such as those based on SFP+. Over time market forces will determine the most popular 10GE PHY types. |
