Nestle required a reliable wireless network that could cover its campus, including areas where conventional indoor networking was not practical. The project involved installing RF devices on elevated masts, managing outdoor cabling, and protecting network equipment from changing weather conditions.

The work covered the complete outdoor wireless setup, from RF device and switch installation to equipment protection and cable management. The network was planned to provide dependable connectivity across the required areas while keeping the installation organized and easy to maintain.

The main challenge was extending reliable wireless connectivity across the Nestle campus while working with outdoor installations. RF devices had to be installed at height to achieve the required coverage, while the equipment and cabling needed protection from outdoor conditions.

With multiple wireless devices being deployed across the campus, the installation also needed proper cable routing and equipment organization to avoid maintenance issues later.

The wireless network was designed around outdoor RF devices and network switches, with RF units installed on elevated masts to achieve better coverage across the campus.

Outdoor networking equipment was placed inside IP66/IP67 weatherproof enclosures for protection against environmental conditions. A 15U rack and Legrand wire mesh trays were used to keep the equipment and cabling properly organized.

In total, 50 RF wireless devices were deployed across the campus and configured to provide wireless access throughout the required zones.
